Call button version of the H.264 Outdoor VoIP intercom entry phone with embedded video camera. Ideal for any end user enterprise that requires audio and video over the existing IP and VoIP infrastructure.The SIP certified device easily integrates to a SIP server also known as an IP-PBX. This could be an on-site system or hosted solution. When integrated to VoIP the video intercom is more powerful in regards to what it can do. You can reach multiple phones and form hunt groups. The intercom can also be set up to not register with a SIP server, here you would set up a simple Point to Point architecture. One example would be the CyberData SoftPhone installed on a PC and the video intercom calls it, this would be a basic P2P set up. VoIP integration is more powerful and flexible. Although the call button device can only initiate a single call, that one call can form a hunt group and reach multiple phones within the building an externally.
THE ON-BOARD RELAY WHICH CONNECTS TO YOUR DOOR RELAY OR GATE CONTROLLER AND THIS IS TRIGGERED BY THE REACHED TELEPHONE, IP, LANDLINE, MOBILE AND SOFT-PHONES CAN ALL BE THE RECEIVER.
The image here to the left shows the LINPHONE APP available on the Play Store. This is a SoftPhone you can install on your mobile and it will answer the video call. This method is only available for “within the enterprise phone calls”. The Mobile phone would have to be using the same internet connection the intercom is. This actually can work well as the SIP entry phone is not really designed for home use, its installed at end user locations where people within the building answer the call.

If you are an installer a lot of the set up will be carried out by the end client. They will set up the new extension on the IP Phone system and usually they would assist with then registering the VoIP video intercom to that extension. They may give you the extension number they want the intercom to call from the call button or you can speed-dial each keypad key. They would then set the extension to a hunt group and add the call inteligence from the IP Phone systems control panel. The best thing ? This is all relatively easy.
