Product Description

Call button version of the H.264 Outdoor VoIP intercom entry phone with embedded video camera. Ideal for any end user enterprise that requires audio and video over the existing IP and VoIP infrastructure. The SIP certified device easily integrates to a SIP server also known as an IP-PBX. This could be an on-site system or hosted solution. When integrated to VoIP the video intercom is more powerful in regards to what it can do. You can reach multiple phones and form hunt groups. The intercom can also be set up to not register with a SIP server, here you would set up a simple Point to Point architecture. One example would be the CyberData SoftPhone installed on a PC and the video intercom calls it, this would be a basic P2P set up. VoIP integration is more powerful and flexible. Although the call button device can only initiate a single call, that one call can form a hunt group and reach multiple phones within the building an externally.

THE ON-BOARD RELAY WHICH CONNECTS TO YOUR DOOR RELAY OR GATE CONTROLLER AND THIS IS TRIGGERED BY THE REACHED TELEPHONE, IP, LANDLINE, MOBILE AND SOFT-PHONES CAN ALL BE THE RECEIVER.

The image here to the left shows the LINPHONE APP available on the Play Store. This is a SoftPhone you can install on your mobile and it will answer the video call. This method is only available for “within the enterprise phone calls”. The Mobile phone would have to be using the same internet connection the intercom is. This actually can work well as the SIP entry phone is not really designed for home use, its installed at end user locations where people within the building answer the call.

ALL OTHER HARDWARE & SYSTEM PARTS ARE INSTALLED AND READY !

If you are an installer a lot of the set up will be carried out by the end client. They will set up the new extension on the IP Phone system and usually they would assist with then registering the VoIP video intercom to that extension. They may give you the extension number they want the intercom to call from the call button or you can speed-dial each keypad key. They would then set the extension to a hunt group and add the call inteligence from the IP Phone systems control panel. The best thing ? This is all relatively easy.

Made in America, sold from Manchester – A powerful and reliable product range that is as easy as setting up a new extension on the IP Phone system. VoIP Entry Phones, Public Address & all SIP endpoints carries direct certification for reliable SIP integration. Each POE enabled SIP endpoint is directly certified by around 38 IP Phone System manufacturers. These include Avaya, Broadsoft, Cisco, Mitel and many more. Any one of the 38 that are on the approved list have been on-board with interoperability and fully support integration and set-up.

PEER TO PEER ARCHITECTURE

Lets say you had an automated barrier and security office on site with a PC located, you could set up a simple Point to Point configuration. You would connect the outdoor VoIP secure entry phone to the network with the option to power it on POE. Within the security office you could install the softphone client. The voip video intercom will then call the PC and the receiver can grant access through a pre-programmed relay code. Point to Point is for sites that dont have a VoIP Phone System or sites where multiple extension numbers are not needed to answer a call.

VOIP IS PRIMARY & THE MOST POWERFUL

A certified SIP endpoint and most powerful when used in its natural architecture. Very easy and quick to set up and configure. Create a new user and extension number on the phone system, no different to when a new member of staff starts and you need to allocate a new extension number. Log into the outdoor VoIP entry phones GUI and enter the “SIP” config. Then just simply register the entry phone to the extension number just created. It can now make and receive calls.

Every Manufacturer on this list has worked directly with CyberData & the product to certify interoperability. If your phone system is on the list, its fully supported.

Each SIP endpoint supports SIP over UDP which the majority of IP-PBX manufacturers adhere to. Microsoft Lync uses SIP over TCP and therefpore the certification comes direct from the Gateway manufacturer: Sonus, Audio Codes & Patton. Audiocodes more recent models have dropped SAS ( Stand Alone Survivability ). The best gateway to use would be a Sonus or Patton Smart Node Session Border Controller.

A CISCO partner for over a decade, directly certified by ASTERISK for over 10 years too. Certified my MITELS SIP center of excellence team. Most recent direct and written certification from Broadsoft. A reliable and powerful product.

Each entry phone has 2 sensor settings. A Door Sensor (left open) and a Intrusion Sensor (tamper alert) feature.

The door sensor (pins 5 and 6) on the header can be used to monitor a door's open or closed state. There is an option on the Sensor page to trigger on an open or short condition on these pins. The door sensor alarm will be activated when the Door Open Timeout parameter has been met.

The intrusion sensor is an optical sensor installed on the Intercom board and will be activated when the Intercom is removed from the case.

Each sensor can trigger up to five different actions:

• Flash the LED until the sensor is deactivated (roughly 10 times/second)
• Activate the relay until the sensor is deactivated
• Loop an audio file out of the Intercom speaker until the sensor is deactivated
• Call an extension and establish two way audio
• Call an extension and play a pre-recorded audio file

Burgess Technologies does not install. We test and configure VoIP Intercoms in our workshop and we have set many up to hosted IP Phone Systems. We can fully support on any info regarding the CyberData intercom.

OTHER SUPPLIED HARDWARE: WE CAN NOT ADVISE ON SETTING UP THE ASSOCIATED TECHNOLOGY IT INTEGRATES TO. UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT SELL IP-PBX'S AND WE DO NOT SELL IP PHONES.

Thankfully the above never need really apply as 95% of the time the End Client already has the VoIP system and IP Phones in place.

ELECTRICAL AND THE RELAY: We can not advise on external door access wiring beyond the intercoms PCB board. We can advise on what the intercom offers in the way of its relay board and contacts. Please see the relay TAB on this page. The Normally Open contacts usually directly trigger an automated gate or barrier controller. The same N/O outputs typically control the power of an external door relay already in place. There is lots of info on this in the opps guide PDF.
