Product Description

Here at Burgess Technologies we like to keep things simple. In a refreshing approach we don’t always encourage upgrades. Only if your application will really benefit from it. Adding local storage through a NAS drive is an optional upgrade and useful for remote project locations where the cellular signal is not very strong. We can also set a command through the 4G router and NAS that sends images to a shared OneDrive hosted folder.

FEATURES: 1TB Local HDD (Hard Disk Drive) – Store 1 million 4K UHD Images. Command to send images to a OneDrive folder for easier image transfer and a more interactive image library.

WHY UPGRADE ?

  • Projects in remote locations
  • Alternative OneDrive method to transfer images
  • More of an interactive image library
  • Having a secondary image archive is important
  • For short term projects

NEGATIVE POINTS

  • Not great for Solar applications adds more power
  • Adds expenditure to the overall system price
  • Requires a larger enclosure on-site

There are time lapse projects where space is tight. This recent indoor application did not offer too much room for hardware, our smaller 4G comms box was drilled high up on the wall.

1TB HDD - Hard Disk Drive

Local Fail-over Image Support: This is usually the primary reason for the upgrade. We set up the HDD to a NAS which is connected to the router. As soon as the system has power the camera will start to capture and archive images the Hard Drive. You can store up to 1 million images locally.

OneDrive Image Library Linked to our IIP Portal

A decision on how interactive you want your remote folder to be. Regardless of what system you buy, you will always have the ability to access your captured images in a remote folder. As standard images are in simple file format. When viewed through our OneDrive folder you can view in a more interactive way.

**The above image shows the footer of our own-built IIP Time Lapse Portal. There is the option to have your image folder linked.

BELOW VIDEO EXAMPLES ARE THE STANDARD SYSTEM.

YOU STILL HAVE THIS SAME ACCESS WITH THE NAS. PLUS THE ADDED FEATURES OF LOCAL STORAGE AND THE ONEDRIVE LIBRARY.

RECAP ON IMAGE TRANSFER

With every system you have the ability to access your images remotely. This is in a simple file format and stored this way ready for you to transfer the images to your local computer. You can use a File Transfer client like Filezilla. As standard with ever system we set up a remote image grab URL. This can be used on set up and remotely.

1TB HDD UPGRADE & ONEDRIVE IMAGE LIBRARY

Through the Pre-configured Port Forwarding and the router set up with the 1TB HDD, we can command the Camera & NAS to send images to our OneDrive account, we can then share that folder with you. This can also be linked to our IIP Time lapse portal. This can be used to view images in a more interactive way as apposed to just simple file format. Also you can download from here as an alternative option to Filezilla.
